About the Role
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and qualified Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join our welcoming Early Years team in a vibrant 2-form entry primary school in Battersea. You will play a key role in supporting children aged 3-4 in our nursery provision, helping to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
*Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
*Plan and lead engaging play-based learning activities
*Observe, assess and record children's progress
*Work closely with the class teacher and Early Years team to meet individual needs
*Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
*Build strong relationships with parents and carers
*Ensure safeguarding, welfare and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
*Person Specification
*Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent)
*Experience working in an Early Years or nursery setting
*Good understanding of the EYFS framework
*Warm, patient and nurturing approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
*Enthusiasm for supporting children's learning through play
