Part-Time
We are seeking a proactive and organised Part-Time Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team based in Witney for around 21 hours per week.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day finance operations, ensuring the accurate processing of financial transactions and providing administrative support to both the finance and sales teams.

This role is ideal for someone with previous finance or bookkeeping experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment and has excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
. Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
. Raise and issue sales invoices.
. Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
. Assist with the preparation of BACS payment runs.
. Process employee expense claims and credit card transactions.
. Monitor and reconcile financial records as required.
. Manage and respond to queries received through the finance inbox.
. Liaise with the sales team regarding customer payments and account updates.
. Review the sales order pipeline daily and assist with issuing proforma invoices.
. Support the Finance Manager with month-end tasks and the preparation of management accounts.
. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

About You
. Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a finance, accounts, bookkeeping, or transactional accounting role.
. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
. Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
. Comfortable working with multiple tasks in a busy office environment.
. AAT Level 2 qualification (or working towards) desirable but not essential
. Alternatively, relevant finance experience will be considered.

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and accuracy, strong organisational and time management skills and be a confident communicator with the ability to build positive working relationships.
