White Goods Installation Engineer

Location: Milton Keynes or Luton
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000
Type: Full-time, Permanent

NterTalent are currently recruiting for a White Goods Installation Engineer on behalf of a fast-growing, global business expanding its UK installation team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience installing wet appliances, white goods, domestic appliances or similar, who enjoys being hands-on, customer-facing and working to a high standard.

You’ll be responsible for installing, connecting and testing household appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, washer dryers and plumbed-in fridge freezers, ensuring every installation is completed safely, professionally and with excellent customer service.

The Role

As a White Goods Installation Engineer, you’ll be visiting customer homes to complete appliance installations across your allocated area. You’ll make sure appliances are correctly connected to existing water, waste and electrical points, tested for leaks and left fully operational.

This role would suit someone who has worked as a white goods engineer, appliance installer, wet appliance installer, delivery and installation engineer, domestic appliance engineer, plumbing assistant, maintenance engineer or similar.

Key Responsibilities

* Install and connect wet appliances including washing machines, dishwashers, washer dryers and plumbed-in fridge freezers

* Disconnect and remove old appliances where required

* Check new appliances for visible damage before installation

* Connect appliances to existing water supply, waste pipes and standard electrical sockets

* Level appliances correctly and ensure they are safe and secure

* Run test cycles to check for leaks, faults or installation issues

* Provide a professional and friendly service in customer homes

* Complete job notes, installation paperwork and updates accurately

* Follow company health and safety procedures at all times

* Represent the business to a high standard while working in customer homes

What We’re Looking For

* Experience installing white goods, wet appliances or domestic appliances

* Confident working with water connections, waste pipes and appliance levelling

* Good practical and hands-on skills

* Strong attention to detail and a safety-first approach

* Comfortable working in customer homes

* Good communication and customer service skills

* Full UK driving licence

* Based within a commutable distance of Milton Keynes or Luton
