The Firm
Our client is a highly regarded London law firm with an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding legal advice and client service. Recognised for its collaborative culture and investment in its people, the firm is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Legal Secretary to join its London office.
The Opportunity
This is a varied Senior Legal Secretary role supporting Fee Earners within a busy Corporate team. You'll provide a combination of secretarial, PA and administrative support, while also acting as a mentor to junior secretaries and helping to ensure the smooth running of the department. Duties to include:
File opening, billing, file closing and document formatting
Managing diaries, arranging meetings, booking travel and coordinating conference calls
Preparing and formatting legal documents to the firm's house style
Acting as a first point of contact for clients
Supporting junior Secretaries, offering guidance and assistance with workloads
Assisting with billing, drafting invoices and supporting the management of WIP and outstanding debt
Preparing Court bundles, client bibles and other legal documentation
Maintaining electronic and paper filing systemsThis Senior Legal Secretary position is a full time, permanent role, working Monday - Friday, 9:30am -5:30pm
Requirements
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within a law firm (4 years minimum)
Experience supporting a Corporate team within a law firm (essential)
Strong legal secretarial, billing and matter management experience
Excellent diary management and organisational skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and legal document formattingVacancy Highlights
