MIG Welder

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:

We are looking for MIG Welders for long term contract work for a client in Rotherham

This does have the potential to go permanent for the right candidates.

Immediate start available (subject to interview process)

Rate of pay is £28.00 per hour (all hours).

Shifts Available:

Mornings - Monday- Thursday- 6am - 2 pm
Afternoon - Monday to Thursday - 2pm - 10pm
Nights - Monday to Friday - 10pm - 6am
Weekends - Friday to Sunday - 3 x 12 hours - 6am - 6pmAbout The Role:

Perform welding activities on carbon steel, armour steel, aluminium
Weld various joint configurations in all positions
Ensure equipment parameters are set to the optimum to fully satisfy weld quality, integrity, and WPS requirements
Review engineering drawings for parts to be welded
Working to tolerances on fabrication drawings.
Satisfy production schedules to the correct quality level and within the specified time scale
Carry out and record the daily / weekly / monthly maintenance checks and record the necessary safety checks
Ensure correct marking up of component partsNVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Fabrication and Welding would be expected.
