Programmes & Contracts Manager
A leading defence organisation is seeking an experienced Programmes & Contracts Manager to manage a portfolio of high-value service contracts supporting major UK defence programmes.
Direct experience operating within the SSRO (Single Source Regulatory Office) framework is essential. Applications without SSRO experience cannot be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multi-million-pound service contracts with full P&L accountability.
Ensure compliance with SSRO regulations, including pricing, reporting and allowable costs.
Lead contract delivery across MRO, engineering support and upgrade programmes.
Drive financial performance, forecasting, risk management and continuous improvement.
Act as the primary customer interface, building strong relationships with MoD stakeholders and key partners.
Support contract renewals, bids and business growth activities.Essential Experience
Proven SSRO experience within a defence environment.
Track record managing high-value MoD contracts.
Strong commercial, financial and contract management expertise.
Experience in programme management, MRO or in-service support.
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing defence business in a commercially critical leadership role.
On Offer: -
Salary to £90,000
Bonus circa 10%
Matched pension scheme to 10%
