911 Staffing are recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant on a permanent basis in the Swindon area.
As a key member of the warehouse team, you will play an essential role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage and distribution of book donations that make a meaningful impact worldwide.
About the role:
* Monday to Friday - No weekends!
* Working hours are 8am-4pm (37.5 hours paid per week)
* Swindon based (close to the town centre & accessible by public transport)
* Permanent role
* Salary is £24,800 - £26,000 per annum, depending on MHE experience
Benefits include:
* 28 days annual leave (3 to be taken during business closure at Christmas) plus all bank holidays.

The Warehouse Assistant role includes the following responsibilities:
* Support the receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of books
* Work with other team members to achieve book donation targets
* Contribute to the overall cleanliness and safety of the working environment by following health and safety practices
* Operate MHE - Forklift Truck(s)
* Other ad hoc duties as required
Requirements for the Warehouse Assistant role:
* Have previous experience working in a warehouse environment
* Have a collaborative approach to support a positive team environment to enable book donation targets and other KPIs to be met
* Have a full understanding of workplace safety regulations and a proactive approach to ensuring a safe and clean working environment for all team members
* Have the physical ability to carry out duties that involve lifting and bending, and possess a clear understanding of manual handling principles and best practices
* Be familiar using Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) with strong attention to detail
* Experienced and licensed to operate MHE (Forklift) - Highly desirable
