DevOps & Security Engineer | Investment Management

Our client is a well-regarded institutional investor with a mature, in-house technology function delivering complex data and investment solutions. They are seeking a DevOps Engineer who can also do security engineering. The role will support on the continued development and quality of those solutions, maintaining the pipelines, automation, and release processes that underpin delivery.

The Role

• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and software release and deployment processes
• Implement automation for internal processes
• Collect, analyse and document technical and operational requirements from key stakeholders
• Participate in team workshops and share knowledge across the function

Essential

• Azure DevOps Pipelines and CI/CD
• Atlassian Confluence, Jira and associated products
• Languages: PowerShell, Python, C# and SQL
• Ability to produce clear, concise and maintainable code

Desirable

• Cloud deployments to Microsoft products (Fabric, Synapse, Azure) or Snowflake
• Testing frameworks and tools (Xray, Zephyr)
• Power BI reporting and deployments
• Application security tools (SonarQube, GitHub Security)
• Scheduling systems, preferably JAMS
