We are currently recruiting a Support Worker for our client based in Nottingham.
Responsibilities for Support Worker:
* Providing personcentred care and support to children and adults with complex physical and learning disabilities.
* Assisting individuals with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
* Supporting service users with mobility needs, including the safe use of hoists, wheelchairs, and other mobility equipment.
* Following and implementing individual care plans tailored to each person's needs and goals.
* Promoting independence and encouraging individuals to develop daily living skills.
* Supporting service users with medication administration in line with policies and procedures.
* Monitoring and recording health, wellbeing, and behavioural changes, reporting concerns to senior staff.
* Assisting with meal preparation and supporting individuals with eating and drinking where required.
* Providing emotional support and building positive, trusting relationships with service users and their families.
* Supporting individuals to participate in recreational, educational, and communitybased activities.
* Maintaining accurate care records, incident reports, and daily documentation.
* Ensuring a safe, clean, and supportive environment while safeguarding vulnerable children and adults at all times.
* Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver highquality care.
