Hydrogeologist - Consultant - Groundwater Modelling - Up to 5-6 Years Experience - South UK
Are you a Hydrogeologist looking for your next career move within a leading global engineering and environmental consultancy?
We are recruiting a Hydrogeologist at Consultant grade to join a growing UK team working across the south of the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Hydrogeologist with around 3+ years' experience to work on major infrastructure and water sector projects, including dewatering modelling at Sizewell C and large-scale reservoir schemes for Anglian Water across Cambridgeshire and East Anglia.
Hydrogeologist - The Role:
Groundwater modelling and dewatering assessments for major construction and infrastructure projects
Controlled water DQRA and contaminant fate and transport modelling
Working alongside multidisciplinary environmental and geotechnical teams
Exposure to nationally significant energy and water sector projects
Strong progression route to Senior Hydrogeologist and Principal levelHydrogeologist - What We're Looking For:
MSc in Hydrogeology or a closely related Earth Sciences discipline
Approximately 3-8 years' relevant industry experience
Background in either contaminated land / controlled water DQRA, or engineering hydrogeology (dewatering, construction projects)
Practical experience with groundwater modelling software such as Modflow, ConSim, or P20
Strong technical writing and client liaison skillsHydrogeologist - Locations:
Flexible across multiple UK offices including Exeter, Bristol, Birmingham, London, Cambridge, or Epsom, with hybrid working available.
