Think Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced FRA Carpenter to join a long-term social housing contract covering Worcestershire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled carpenter with fire door experience to secure ongoing work with the potential to move into a permanent position.

The Role

You will be carrying out fire safety works within occupied and void social housing properties across Worcestershire. Duties will include:

Installation of fire doors.
Fire door remedial and maintenance works.
Upgrading existing fire doors to current regulations.
Completing associated carpentry works.
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with fire safety requirements.
Working independently across multiple sites.

Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence.
Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Card preferred).
Proven experience installing and repairing fire doors.
Knowledge of FRA (Fire Risk Assessment) remedial works.
Previous social housing experience is desirable.
Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of workmanship.

The Offer

£24.00 per hour.
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Immediate start available.
Long-term ongoing contract.
Potential permanent opportunity available.
