Axcis Education is currently recruiting unqualified Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Birmingham. This is an immediate start role, with strong potential to continue into the next academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s development and making a positive impact in education.
Who Is This Role Suitable For?

• Recent graduates
• Emergency services workers
• Care or support workers
• Youth mentors

About the Role
This is a full-time Teaching Assistant position, working Monday to Friday (8:30am – 4:00pm).
Pay rate: £14.25 per hour
You will:
• Support children aged 4–11 years in a primary school setting
• Work with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• Provide personalised, one-to-one and small group support
• Build positive, meaningful relationships with students
• Help create a calm and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
To be considered, you should have:
• A passion for supporting young people
• A caring, patient, and empathetic approach
• Strong ability to build positive relationships with pupils
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
• Availability for full-time work (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm)
