What's the role about?
As Operations Director, you will take full ownership of end-to-end operations across warehousing, logistics, transport, and production/assembly. Key areas of focus include:
Building a scalable operational platform to support significant growth
Leading major transformation projects including WMS implementation
Optimising depot network efficiency across multiple UK locations
Driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
Embedding data-driven decision making and technology adoptionKey Responsibilities
Lead all operational functions across warehousing, logistics, transport, and production across 3 distribution centres
Develop and deliver a scalable operational strategy aligned to growth targets
Implement systems and infrastructure improvements, including WMS and automation
Optimise transport networks and depot performance across multiple sites
Drive KPI performance including DIFOT, cost efficiency, and customer experience
Lead, coach, and develop high-performing operational teams
Deliver strategic projects on time and within budgetRequirements

Brings senior leadership experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain
Has successfully delivered large-scale operational transformation projects
Is experienced in multi-site operations and complex logistics environments
