Animal Care and Grounds Assistant - Outskirts of Maldon, Essex

20 Hours Per Week - £13.00 per Hour
Are you an animal lover who enjoys working outdoors and getting stuck into a variety of practical tasks?
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Animal Care and Grounds Assistant to join a small, friendly team based on the outskirts of Maldon.
This is a hands on role that would suit someone who enjoys caring for animals and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well presented environment.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
4 hours per day/20 hours per week
Duties will include:
* Feeding and caring for dogs on site
* Putting dogs into and out of kennels
* Cleaning and maintaining kennel areas
* Feeding chickens and collecting eggs
* Grass cutting using a ride on lawn mower
* Strimming and general grounds maintenance
* Manual weeding and upkeep of outdoor areas
* Ensuring animal welfare standards are maintained at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Be a genuine animal lover with a caring and patient nature
* Be comfortable handling dogs of various breeds and sizes
* Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
* Be reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
* Have a good level of physical fitness
* Have previous animal care experience, although this is not essential
* Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own transport due to the rural location
