Civil Engineer - Liverpool
A growing civil and structural engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join its Liverpool office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with 3+ years of consultancy experience looking to further develop their technical skills while working on a broad range of residential, commercial and development infrastructure projects.
You'll be joining a collaborative team involved in projects from initial feasibility and planning stages through to detailed design and construction, with exposure to drainage, highways and infrastructure design across a variety of sectors.
The Role
As a Civil Engineer, you'll play a key role in the design and delivery of development infrastructure projects, working closely with senior engineers, technicians and clients to produce practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.
The role will involve preparing drainage and highways designs, supporting planning applications, producing technical reports and coordinating with external stakeholders throughout project delivery.
You'll gain exposure to projects across residential developments, commercial schemes and wider infrastructure works, offering excellent variety and opportunities for progression.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years' experience within a civil engineering consultancy environment.
Experience delivering development infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Experience using XP Site3D, Vehicle Tracking and MicroDrainage (or equivalent drainage software).
Experience producing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs).
Experience designing adoptable drainage networks, including Section 104, 106 and 185 agreements.
Experience preparing highways designs for Section 278 and Section 38 schemes.
Good understanding of UK design standards and approval processes.
Strong communication and project coordination skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team environment.
