An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Wills and Probate Practitioner to join an established and well-regarded Private Client team based in Potters Bar. Wills and Probate Solicitor — Position Overview:

You will manage a varied private client caseload independently, advising clients on wills, probate, trusts, and related matters, while also supporting the development and expansion of the department.

Key Responsibilities of the Wills and Probate Solicitor:

• Drafting and advising on Wills
• Probate and estate administration
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Court of Protection deputyship and related matters
• Trusts and tax planning
• Managing a busy caseload with minimal supervision

(Desirable exposure)
• Contested probate matters including Inheritance Act claims and will disputes

Requirements of the Wills and Probate Solicitor:

• Minimum 8 years’ PQE in Wills and Probate / Private Client work
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Clear, professional communication with clients
• Comfortable contributing to a wider team environment
• Full clean driving licence
• Willingness to attend other offices to take instructions and support department growth
