Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in adult care homes, supported living environments, or community settings.
Requirements:
* Previous 6 month experience in care or support work is desirable but not essential.
* DBS on Updated Service. (Must)
* Moving and Handling Practical / Manual Training Certificate. (Must)
* Driving License. (Optional)
* Willingness to undertake training and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
* Assist with meal preparation, nutrition, and hydration needs.
* Support service users with medication administration in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Assist with mobility, transfers, and the use of mobility aids where required.
* Monitor and report changes in service users' physical, emotional, or mental well-being.
* Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation.
* Promote safeguarding, health and safety, equality, diversity, and dignity at all times.
* Build positive relationships with service users, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of person-centred care and support plans.
