An established and growing construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its team, delivering a prestigious high-end commercial sector project.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven professional who thrives in a high-quality, design-led environment and is looking to play a key role in delivering complex, high-value developments.
The Senior QS will take a leading role in managing the commercial aspects of a high-end project from pre-construction through to completion. You will work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead cost planning, procurement, and commercial management
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flows
Evaluate tender submissions and negotiate contracts
Oversee valuations, variations, and final accounts
Provide strategic commercial advice to clients and stakeholders
Mentor and support junior team members where required Requirements:
5+ years Quantity Surveying experience within the commercial sector
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and cost control
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
MRICS or working towards chartership What’s on Offer
Salary up to £75,000 (depending on experience)
Hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
