Infrastructure Engineer – Contract – London – Hybrid
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to provide infrastructure support while managing Server, Storage and Networking issues across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining a Microsoft server environment, delivering 3rd line support, and handling networking tasks.
Key Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Engineer:
Server provisioning, administration, and support.
OS patching, vulnerability remediation, and antivirus management.
Monitoring alerts, incident resolution, and performance tuning.
VMware administration and storage capacity management.
Backup monitoring, restore testing, and disaster recovery support.
User access management and certificate administration.
Change implementation and technical documentation updates.
Automation and scripting to improve operational efficiency.
Essential Skills of the Infrastructure Engineer:
Must have strong Windows Server administration experience
VMware vSphere management
Infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting
Backup and recovery technologies
Networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
PowerShell scripting and automation
The successful Infrastructure Engineer must be able to commute to the London office on a hybrid basis.
