Leading global technology and consulting firm, is currently seeking a Risk Manager to join their team in London on an initial 16-month Fixed Term Contract. This role is integral to a recently secured 7-year project working with a major transportation client, focused on establishing and maintaining a comprehensive Risk Management Framework for the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and fulfilling risk management obligations as outlined in the contract
Developing and maintaining the Project Risk Management Plan and Risk Register
Conducting quantitative risk analysis to evaluate potential impacts on project timelines and budgets
Designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies aligning with client protocols and contractual requirements
Preparing monthly risk reports for senior management and the client
Leading regular risk review workshops with workstream leads and clients
Ensuring compliance with ISO 31000 and contractual risk management requirements
Monitoring subcontractor risk performance and ensuring adherence to obligations
Supporting claims and dispute resolution with risk-based evidence
Acting as the primary risk liaison for the client's Risk Manager and internal teams
Training project staff on risk awareness tools and best practices
Job Requirements:
Degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, IT, or a related discipline
Professional qualification or certification in risk management, such as:
IRM Certificate or Diploma (Institute of Risk Management)
APM Project Risk Management Qualification (PRAMQ)
RMP: Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) certification
MoR (Management of Risk) certification
Extensive experience managing risks in large, complex rail, construction, or infrastructure projects
