Why Greencore?

Following the combination with Bakkavor in January 2026, we're one of the UK's leading creators of convenience food, driven by a simple purpose: to make every day taste better.

Together, we bring delicious food to life. Our products cover every meal occasion from breakfast through to dinner and dessert, with lunch and snacking in between. In FY25, our shared passion helped us achieve combined revenues of approximately £4bn.

Our extensive direct to store (DTS) network, with 17 depots across the UK, allows us to deliver fresh and frozen food both our own and from trusted partners to thousands of stores every day, ensuring consumers enjoy the very best, whenever and wherever they shop.

What you'll be doing

In this busy and exciting role, you will manage the Management Accounting activities for the site, providing insightful financial analysis and accurate reporting to support decision-making across operations and commercial teams.

• Prepare, review and present costings for current and future product ranges, supporting NPD and EPD activity
• Oversee accurate setup and maintenance of standard costs
• Monitor, report and present KPIs, providing commentary and highlighting risks or opportunities
• Support forecasting processes and alignment with key stakeholders and Group requirements
• Deliver ad hoc modelling and analysis to support operational and commercial decisions
• Provide financial analysis for Capex proposals, including ROI validation
• Lead post-capital reviews to assess project performance
• Act as site finance lead on minor project implementations
• Provide clear commentary on P&L movements and variances versus forecast and last year

• Able to work at pace and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated and able to work independently to drive actions
• Experience with Finance ERP systems (desirable)
• ACCA/CIMA part- or fully-qualified (desirable)
