Works Examiner (Part-Time)
Chartered Civil / Structural Engineer required on part time basis for a post-tensioned bridge refurbishment scheme during the construction stage. Required to represent a client as scheme designer, answering Technical Queries, communicating with the Contractors, National Highways site supervisor and H&S representatives on site. Carry out Works Examiner role and sign Construction Compliance Certificate upon completion.
Based remotely but required to attend site when necessary (day or night shifts - location: Thurlaston, Rugby, Warwickshire).
Experience in Works Examiner role
Experience of post-tensioned bridges and site investigations
Familiar with DMRB standards and good understanding /experience of National Highways procedures
Technical and commercial management skills, good communicator with technical ability to drive problem solving
Driving license
National Highway Passport, CSCS card required
