The RoleThis is a hands-on Quality Engineering role with a strong focus on both inspection and continuous improvement. You’ll be the go-to person for quality on-site, working closely with production and engineering teams to ensure high standards are met, and continuously improved.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and drive Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
Manage the QMS
Lead Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) from investigation through to closure
Carry out hands-on inspections (primarily visual, with some use of measurement tools)
Validate and approve production technicians’ quality checks
Analyse quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Implement and embed robust quality processes and controls
Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve overall product quality
Support the transition from reactive quality to a more proactive, process-driven approachAbout You
Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Strong mechanical understanding — this is essential
Experience working with NCRs, CAPAs, and root cause analysis
A proactive mindset — someone who wants to improve systems, not just maintain them
Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence across teamsIndustry background is flexible — attitude, approach, and mechanical knowledge are key.
