The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring maximum equipment reliability and production uptime within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Conduct fault finding and I/O checks on automated equipment
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
A recognised engineering qualification
Experience working within a multi-skilled maintenance environment
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities
A good understanding of health and safety practices
Experience within manufacturing, food, FMCG, or automated production environments would be advantageous
