We are working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Salford that is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Religious Education to join their successful Humanities department from September 2026 on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for either an Early Career Teacher or an experienced practitioner who is committed to delivering engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons that inspire students to explore a range of beliefs, values, and ethical issues.

The Role

Teaching Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that promote student progress and engagement.
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitoring and assessing student attainment and providing effective feedback.
Contributing to the wider life of the Humanities department and school community.The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching Religious Education within a UK secondary school setting.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.The School Offers
