We are recruiting a Head of Manufacturing to lead a group of manufacturing sites across the Midlands. This Head of Manufacturing role offers a unique opportunity to join a growing business investing heavily in its people, plant and long-term capability.
The Head of Manufacturing will take ownership of multi-site performance, developing people, processes and equipment to deliver strong productivity outcomes without reliance on micro-management. This is an ideal opportunity for a Manufacturing Operations Manager or Production Manager ready to step into a broader leadership role, or for an experienced Head of Manufacturing seeking a new challenge.
As Head of Manufacturing, you will drive consistency across sites, build capability in leadership teams, and embed a culture of accountability and performance. Many successful candidates may currently be working as a Manufacturing Operations Manager or Production Manager and looking to progress into a Head of Manufacturing position.

Key responsibilities: Lead multi-site operations across the Midlands, driving performance, productivity and best practice Develop leadership capability to enable autonomy and reduce dependency on hands-on management Build manufacturing processes and systems aligned to productivity, ROI and efficiency goals Contribute as Head of Manufacturing within the senior leadership team, supporting strategic direction

Skills and experience: Experience as Head of Manufacturing, Manufacturing Operations Manager or Production Manager within a manufacturing environment Proven ability to develop CapEx plans including long-term investment, site expansion and equipment renewal Strong experience with OEE and KPI development linked to productivity and ROI Knowledge of regulated environments including DSEAR, ATEX or similar Data-driven mindset with commercial awareness Collaborative approach, able to operate effectively at senior leadership level
