About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Solderer to join a well-established manufacturing business with over 20 years of success in delivering high-quality, reliable products. Known for enhancing productivity, efficiency, and operator safety, this is a fantastic chance to become part of a respected and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform solder touch-ups on circuit boards, correcting faults such as voids, shorts, pinholes, cold joints, and insufficient solder
Carry out desoldering and component removal where required
Place and solder through-hole and SMT components (training provided)
Assemble modules using fixings, wiring looms, and enclosures
Build and assemble wire harnesses to specification
Inspect and measure completed products to ensure they meet required specifications
Escalate any production or assembly issues to the Supervisor
Maintain tools and equipment in line with manufacturer guidelines
Use materials efficiently to support cost-effective production
Accurately complete production and quality documentation
About You
Previous experience in soldering or electronic assembly
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to follow technical instructions and specifications
A team player with a proactive approach
Willingness to learn - full training and support provided
