A leading multi-site global logistics company is seeking an experienced Freight Coordinator to join its team in Winchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a freight professional with strong Air and Sea Freight experience and a solid understanding of customs procedures to join a growing and well-established organisation.

The Role
As a Freight Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing international Air and Sea Freight shipments from start to finish, ensuring a high level of service is delivered to customers and partners worldwide.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing day-to-day bookings for worldwide Air and Sea Freight shipments
Coordinating shipments from booking through to final delivery
Completing customs entries for imported goods
Raising and maintaining job files and all associated documentation
Processing shipments using the company's in-house freight software system
Liaising extensively with suppliers, carriers, and overseas agents
Negotiating rates and services with suppliers
Supporting the sales team with quotations and service updates
Invoicing completed shipments accurately and in a timely manner
Ensuring compliance with all relevant customs and freight regulations
Requirements
Previous experience in both Air Freight and Sea Freight operations is essential
Experience with a UK based freight forwarder is required
Proven experience managing shipments from start to finish
Customs entries experience is essential
Strong understanding of international freight forwarding processes
Excellent communication and organisational skills
