An internationally renowned premium fashion brand, recognised for its beautifully crafted womenswear collections, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Womenswear Garment Technologist to join its established Head Office team in Greater Manchester.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Senior Garment Technologist with expertise across structured soft tailoring, dresses and occasionwear to play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional fit, quality and consistency across all product ranges.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading fit sessions and attending development meetings.
Managing fit approvals, test reports and labelling requirements.
Maintaining high standards of fit, quality and product performance throughout development.
Working closely with design, buying, suppliers and factories to ensure critical path deadlines are achieved.
Providing technical guidance and supporting continuous product improvement.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Previous experience as a Garment Technologist within a premium brand or high-street retailer.
Strong multi-product womenswear experience.
Excellent knowledge of garment construction, pattern cutting and grading.
Proven experience working with overseas suppliers and factories.
Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe software packages.
