The Role
As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a well-established engineering team while driving reliability, performance, and continuous improvement across the site.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading, coaching, and developing a team of engineers to achieve operational excellence.
Driving a culture of continuous improvement and asset reliability across the engineering function.
Ensuring all maintenance activities, audits, and PPM schedules are accurately recorded and completed to the highest standard.
Managing departmental budgets and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Overseeing third-party contractors and ensuring compliance with site standards and expectations.
Providing technical engineering expertise to support both short- and long-term capital projects.
Leading root cause analysis activities to eliminate recurring issues and improve plant performance.
Managing team performance through KPIs, objective setting, and regular performance reviews.
Building strong cross-functional relationships with Production, Technical, Hygiene, and Health & Safety teams.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven experience in a Maintenance Manager or Senior Engineering Leadership position.
Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment.
A recognised engineering qualification.
Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
Experience driving continuous improvement, reliability, and engineering best practice within a manufacturing setting.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
