MET Technician

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nightshift MET Technician for a reputable accident repair centre in Birmingham, West Midlands. Repair and replace mechanical, electrical, and trim components to manufacturer standards
Diagnose vehicle damage and execute repairs efficiently and accurately
Work within set timescales while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Ensure all repairs adhere to health and safety guidelines as an MET Technician
Complete all relevant job documentation accurately
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
Liaise with colleagues, parts departments, and management as requiredRequirements of a MET Technician:

Relevant qualification in vehicle body repair, automotive engineering, or equivalent experience as an MET Technician
Proven experience in repairing and replacing mechanical, electrical, and trim components
Ability to work independently during night shifts
Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach
Ability to work under pressure and meet productivity targets
Experience aligning repairs with manufacturer specifications
Sound understanding of health and safety procedures
