An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and motivated Ecologist to join a growing environmental consultancy team delivering a wide range of ecological projects across the UK.
The successful candidate will contribute to habitat and protected species surveys, ecological assessments, impact evaluations, and technical report writing for projects spanning multiple sectors. Working alongside experienced environmental professionals, they will play a key role in supporting clients through the planning and development process while helping to deliver practical, sustainable ecological solutions.

Key Responsibilities;
Undertaking a variety of ecological field surveys, including habitat and protected species surveys.
Preparing technical reports such as Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments, and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments.
Assisting with project management and client liaison.
Supporting ecological mitigation, enhancement, and monitoring projects.
Ensuring work is delivered to a high technical standard and in accordance with relevant legislation and best practice guidance.
About the Candidate;
Degree qualified in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
Experience undertaking ecological surveys and report writing.
Good knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Membership of a relevant professional body is desirable.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
