Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Vehicle Technician in Taunton. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a reputable dealership committed to delivering high-quality service. Basic salary of up to £37,500 per annum, dependent on experience

Opportunities for career progressionDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct routine vehicle servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
Carry out MOT inspections and testing in compliance with legal requirements
Diagnose vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
Complete service and repair documentation thoroughly
Liaise with the workshop controller to prioritise workload effectively
Ensure customer vehicles are completed to a high standard within specified timescales
Maintain a focus on quality and customer satisfactionRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Relevant NVQ or City & Guilds qualification as a Vehicle Technician
Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a busy workshop
MOT Tester certification (or willingness to obtain)
Proficiency in vehicle diagnostic techniques
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
