We are recruiting on behalf of a respected company seeking a dedicated Refrigeration Engineer to join their team in Trafford Park. This position offers an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals to advance their careers within an established organisation specialising in vehicle refrigeration systems and HVAC solutions.

Supportive and professional working environmentDuties of a Refrigeration Engineer:
Servicing and maintaining refrigeration units, including GAH HVAC systems and Thermo King / Carrier refrigeration equipment
Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults
Performing planned preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability as a Refrigeration Engineer
Conducting F-Gas compliant work in accordance with industry standards
Completing detailed service reports and documentation as a Refrigeration Engineer
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulationsRequirements of a Refrigeration Engineer:
Proven experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or PWC systems preferred
Knowledge of GAH, Thermo King, and Carrier refrigeration systems advantageous; willingness to learn essential
Strong fault-finding skills in electrical and mechanical systems
F-Gas certification is mandatory
Relevant engineering qualifications are desirable but not essential
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work on-site
