A specialist building services organisation is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their mobile engineering team, supporting a portfolio of commercial clients across London and the surrounding Home Counties.

The Role
As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for attending customer sites to complete preventative maintenance, breakdown response, and remedial works on a variety of commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
The role will involve working with systems including VRF and VRV equipment, split and multi-split units, ventilation systems, fan coil units, and associated HVAC plant.
The appointed Air Conditioning Engineer will manage their own workload, complete service documentation accurately, communicate professionally with customers, and ensure all works are completed safely and to a high standard.
You will also support reactive call outs when required as part of a rota system, with additional technical support available for more complex issues.
Responsibilities
The successful Air Conditioning Engineer will carry out planned preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, complete repairs, and support customers with ongoing HVAC requirements.
You will be expected to maintain strong relationships with clients, provide clear updates on works completed, and represent the business professionally while working on customer sites.

Candidates should have hands-on experience working with:
VRV / VRF systems
Split and multi-split air conditioning units
Commercial ventilation systems
2 pipe and 4 pipe fan coil units
Heat pumps (desirable)
Commercial refrigeration equipment (desirable)
A successful Air Conditioning Engineer will have previous experience fault finding, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems across different manufacturers and equipment types.
Experience responding to reactive breakdowns and customer call outs would be advantageous.
Qualifications
The ideal Air Conditioning Engineer will hold relevant industry qualifications, including:
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

Additional qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, or relevant access equipment training would be beneficial.
