Shift Patten = 4On 4Off Days and Nights available

Days = £47,080 Basic + Overtime
Nights = £52,182 Basic + Overtime

To carry out the inspection, servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, repair, and operational support of four rail mounted gantry cranes in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. The role requires a strong mechanical and/or electrical background, excellent problem-solving ability, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
·Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on cranes..
·Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults efficiently.
·Perform repairs, component replacements, and adjustments to ensure equipment remains operational and compliant.
·Conduct inspections in line with LOLER and PUWER regulations.
·Support commissioning, testing, and handover of cranes and lifting systems.
·Complete service reports, inspection documents, and maintenance records accurately.
·Liaise with customers and site teams professionally.
·Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company procedures and health & safety legislation.
·Maintain tools, company vehicle, and equipment in good condition.
·Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

I would be extending the search to heavy plant mechanics and maintenance engineers also as the skills are transferable.
