Teaching Assistant - KS4 SEMH Provision | Speke

We are seeking a confident and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a specialist KS4 SEMH provision in Speke. This rewarding role involves supporting students aged 14-16 with social, emotional and mental health needs, helping them engage in learning and achieve positive outcomes.

The Role:

Supporting students aged 14-16 within the classroom and around the school.
Building strong relationships and promoting positive behaviour.
Assisting with learning activities and engagement.
Supporting students with emotional regulation and social development.
Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff to provide consistent support.The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people and be confident managing challenging behaviour. A background in sports coaching, youth work, mentoring, care or education would be highly advantageous.

We are looking for someone who can build strong relationships, remain calm under pressure, act as a positive role model and is willing to get fully involved in school life.

Full-time, ongoing position. Competitive daily rate.
