Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering / Highways
We’re working with a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering highways and infrastructure works across the UK. They’ve got a strong pipeline of work and are looking to bring in a Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing growth.
This is a solid opportunity to join a forward-thinking team where you’ll be given autonomy, support, and genuine progression.
The role:
Manage project costs from early stage through to final account
Handle CVRs, valuations, and payment applications
Price works, variations, and compensation events
Manage subcontractor packages, orders, and payments
Identify and manage commercial risks
Support contract administration (NEC) and client liaison
Work closely with operational teams to keep projects on track financiallyWhat they’re looking for:
Experience in a QS role within civil engineering or similar
Ideally exposure to highways, drainage, or infrastructure projects
Understanding of NEC contracts
Strong commercial awareness and good attention to detail
Confident communicator, able to work with clients and site teamsWhat’s on offer:
