The Role of Chiller Engineer
As a Chiller Engineer, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of chiller and AC/VRV systems across London and the surrounding areas.
Working autonomously in the field, you'll use your technical expertise to diagnose faults, carry out repairs and ensure customer systems remain fully operational. You'll also build strong customer relationships, provide technical support on-site and occasionally assist with installations when required.
Key responsibilities include:
* Service, maintenance and repair of chiller and AC/VRV equipment
* Diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical and control system faults
* Producing clear and accurate service reports
* Completing timesheets and job documentation efficiently
* Supporting and mentoring apprentices on-site
* Maintaining high standards of health, safety and technical compliance
* Delivering exceptional customer service at every visit
What We're Looking For in a Chiller Engineer
We're seeking a motivated and professional engineer who enjoys problem-solving, works well independently and takes ownership of their workload.
You'll ideally have:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar service or maintenance engineering role
* Strong experience working on chillers and HVAC systems
* A recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
* Safe handling experience of refrigerants and hydrocarbons
* Good understanding of controls, BMS systems and electrical fault-finding
* Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
* A full UK driving licence
