Motor Technician / Mechanic
Salary: £50,000+ DOE

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and enjoys working on a variety of mechanical repairs and diagnostics. The successful candidate will join a professional and well-equipped workshop where technical expertise and attention to detail are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out engine repairs, including timing belt and timing chain (wet belt) replacements.
Diagnose and replace turbochargers.
Repair and replace alternators, starter motors, and auxiliary drive belt systems.
Complete clutch and dual mass flywheel replacements.
Carry out suspension system overhauls, including control arms, shock absorbers, springs, and associated components.
Diagnose and repair braking systems, including ABS fault tracing and diagnostics.
Perform routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
Utilise diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults efficiently.
Ensure all work is completed safely and to manufacturer standards.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or Motor Technician.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Experience carrying out major mechanical repairs and component replacements.
Good understanding of automotive electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
