Team Leader – Children’s Residential Home (Solo Provision
Location: Darlaston
Pay:£14 - £15.50 per hour
Shift Pattern: 1 on / 2 off - 40 hours a week
We’re recruiting a Team Leader for a brand-new solo children’s home opening in Darlaston. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a specialist provision focused on reunification work, supporting children with SEMH in a therapeutic, family-orientated environment.
The service is backed by an integrated clinical team, offering a trauma-informed, relationship-based model of care. As a Team Leader, you’ll play a vital role in creating a nurturing, stable environment while supporting the young person’s journey toward reunification or long-term stability.

What you’ll be doing:
* Leading shifts and supporting the care team to deliver consistent, high-quality care
* Building trusting, therapeutic relationships with the young person
* Working closely with clinicians and senior staff to support individualised care and behaviour plans
* Supporting documentation, medication administration, and safeguarding
* Being a positive, dependable role model and promoting a culture of safety, support, and growth
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in children’s residential care (essential)
* Confident and calm in complex or emotionally challenging situations
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
* Passionate about trauma-informed and relationship-based care
* Reliable, consistent, and able to lead by example
