About the Role
Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school on the Wirral. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children's academic, social, and emotional development.
The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support learning across the curriculum, deliver targeted interventions, and provide additional support to pupils who require extra assistance to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning within the classroom environment.
Deliver small group and one-to-one interventions in literacy and numeracy.
Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
Support pupils with varying learning needs, including SEND where required.
Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential).
Previous experience working within a primary or secondary school setting.
Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
