STORE / LOGISTICS OPERATOR - SIGNAGE
HERTFORDSHIRE / BEDFORDSHIRE (WITH TRAVEL AS REQUIRED)

Hours: 7am-5pm
Our client is a busy and growing signage company specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-quality signage solutions. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a reliable and organised Store / Logistics Operator to join the team.
This is a hands-on role responsible for managing goods in/out, organising stock, preparing dispatches, and supporting deliveries. The ideal candidate will be proactive, well-organised, and comfortable working both in the warehouse and on the road.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving and checking incoming deliveries (goods in)
Organising and maintaining stock within the warehouse
Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
Coordinating outgoing deliveries and collections
Booking and organising external couriers for nationwide deliveries
Preparing and managing all relevant dispatch and courier paperwork (delivery notes, labels, manifests, etc.)
Loading and unloading company vehicles safely
Carrying out local and regional deliveries using company vans
Ensuring accurate stock records and reporting discrepancies
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Supporting production and installation teams when requiredRequirements:
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics role preferred
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit (manual handling required)
Basic IT skills (stock systems, emails, courier booking systems, etc.)
Positive attitude and willingness to learnDesirable (but not essential):
Experience within signage, manufacturing, or construction industries
Forklift licence
Experience booking couriers and handling logistics documentation
Knowledge of stock control systems
