Warehouse Operative – Uttoxeter
Location: Uttoxeter
Job Type: Full-Time (8:00am – 4:00pm)
Pay Rate: £14.05 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Our client is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join their busy logistics team in Uttoxeter.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse.
Safely loading and unloading deliveries
Receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock
Preparing orders for dispatch, including packing and labelling
Inspecting deliveries for quality, quantity, and accuracy
Maintaining accurate stock records using internal systems and spreadsheets
Supporting stock transfers between sites
Preparing courier shipments to meet delivery deadlines
Assisting with the preparation of gas cylinders, including cleaning and paintingRequirements
Previous warehouse or logistics experience
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Basic computer literacy, including email and stock management systems
Ability to complete paperwork accurately
Understanding of safe manual handling practices
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
FLT (Forklift Truck) licence desirable but not essentialWhat We're Looking For
