Level 3 Nursery Assistant Wirral

Prospero Teaching is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming early years setting on the Wirral. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified childcare professional who is passionate about supporting young children's learning, development, and wellbeing in a safe and nurturing environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with nursery staff to deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework, support children's individual development, and help create a positive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Support children aged 0-5 with their learning and development.
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Support daily routines, including mealtimes, play, and personal care where required.
Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

A recognised Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification (essential).
Experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
A good understanding of the EYFS framework.
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young children.
