Product Compliance Manager
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £42,000 to £48,000 per annum plus car allowance
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Position 1 Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Product Compliance Manager to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Norwich.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in product compliance and certification to play a key role within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities of Product Compliance Manager
* Manage and maintain third-party product certifications and accreditations
* Lead certification processes for new products, including testing and compliance activities
* Act as the internal expert for UKCA/CE marking, Building Regulations, and industry standards
* Monitor regulatory changes and assess the impact on the business
* Maintain accurate compliance documentation and product records
* Carry out internal inspections and supplier audits
* Identify compliance risks and ensure corrective actions are implemented
About You
* Previous experience in product compliance, certification, or regulatory roles within engineering or manufacturing
* Strong understanding of UKCA/CE marking, BS/EN/ISO standards, and Building Regulations
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
* Engineering or construction qualification (HND/HNC or degree preferred)
* Knowledge of ERP/PLM systems and project management tools
* PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification would be advantageous
Additional Information
Working hours are Monday to Friday; however, flexibility will be required for occasional UK travel and overnight stays when necessary
