Are you an ambitious HR Business Partner looking to join a fast-growing organisation where you can truly make a difference? Our client is seeking a dynamic HR professional to support their expansion and shape the people agenda.

TITLE: HR Business Partner

LOCATION: Exeter (with regional & national travel)

SALARY: Up to £55,000 per annum

BENEFITS: Company car allowance, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, standard pension, Health cash plan, and hybrid flexible working.

HOURS: Monday to Friday, full-time can be flexible on start and finish times.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Business Partnering: Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, supporting the delivery of people strategies aligned to business growth.
Attrition & Engagement: Leading initiatives to reduce employee attrition, identifying trends and implementing targeted retention strategies.
Multi-Site Support: Providing hands-on HR support across multiple operational sites, particularly across the South West.
HR Frameworks: Driving consistency across HR practices including policies, job descriptions, benefits, and reward structures.
Change & Integration: Supporting organisational growth, including the integration of newly acquired businesses and aligning culture and processes.
Leadership Support: Coaching and advising managers on employee relations, performance management, and leadership capability.
Workforce Planning: Supporting organisational design, restructuring, and headcount planning.
Data & Reporting: Analysing HR data to identify trends and provide insights to support decision-making.
Collaboration: Working closely with wider HR teams to deliver group-wide initiatives and continuous improvement.

KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: Proven experience in a true HR Business Partner role within a multi-site environment.
Industry Background: Experience within manufacturing, engineering, construction, or similar operational sectors is essential.
Strategic & Operational HR: Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced business.
Stakeholder Management: Strong influencing and relationship-building skills with senior leadership teams.
HR Knowledge: Solid understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive actionable outcomes.
Personal Attributes: Proactive, resilient, and comfortable managing change within a growing organisation.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

This is a multi-site role requiring regular travel, including weekly visits across the South West and occasional travel to other UK locations.

This role is ideally suited to someone based in or around Exeter, with flexibility to travel as required.

You will play a key role in supporting a business during a period of rapid growth, and transformation, with a strong focus on improving retention and embedding consistent HR practices across the group.
