A brand-new specialist SEN school in Nuneaton is looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys celebrating small successes and helping young people build confidence, independence and life skills. No two days are the same, and you will play a key part in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
Assisting with classroom activities and learning programmes.
Encouraging communication, independence and social development.
Working closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure pupils receive the best support possible.
Please note: Elements of personal care will be required as part of this role. Candidates must also possess strong behaviour management skills and be confident supporting pupils who may display challenging behaviours.

We're looking for someone who is:

Patient and compassionate.
Adaptable and proactive.
Passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
Keen to develop within a specialist education setting.
