£24,000 per annum + 1 Bed Accommodation and Utilities

Live In Caretaker/Warden, with previous experience in a similar role, required at an over 55s residential development in Chislehurst. The ideal candidate should be looking for a long-term career opportunity and be committed to providing a high standard of service to residents whilst ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the development. Key duties will include managing the day-to-day running of the development, providing a welcoming, professional, and supportive service to residents, assisting with any queries or concerns, carrying out routine checks of alarm call systems, fire alarm systems, door entry systems, emergency lift telephones, and resident pendant systems to ensure the development remains safe and fully operational, reporting, monitoring, and escalating maintenance issues as required, and contacting the appropriate emergency services or authorities when necessary, supervising contractors on site, ensuring works are completed to an acceptable standard and with minimal disruption to residents, monitoring resident wellbeing, identifying any concerns regarding vulnerable residents, and liaising with relatives or relevant parties where appropriate, maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the development, including communal areas and refuse collection points, and ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to and that the development remains a safe and pleasant environment for residents and visitors. This role would suit a proactive, compassionate, experienced and reliable individual with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, good fire and health & safety knowledge and a genuine commitment to supporting residents within a retirement housing environment. DBS Check is required and fire warden certs would be desirable
