The Role

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Service & Support Engineer to join a well-established business with an outstanding culture, excellent employee retention, and a team of long-serving, experienced professionals.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys taking ownership, building strong customer relationships, and making a real impact. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting customers, servicing equipment, and taking responsibility for the day-to-day organisation and running of the workshop.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair work at customer sites
Provide technical support and guidance to customers, both on-site and remotely
Take ownership of workshop activities, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
Manage workshop priorities and coordinate repairs to meet customer expectations
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
Prepare equipment for installation, commissioning, and customer delivery
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Build strong relationships with customers through professional and responsive support
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure all work is completed in line with health, safety, and quality standards

Essential Experience & Skills

Previous experience in a Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer
Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively
Experience servicing, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment or machinery
Excellent customer service and communication skills
A practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities
Organised and capable of taking ownership of workshop operations
